I wanted to make a watch because the ones that existed were all alike and I wanted to try to put my style on these objects. From the beginning, I wanted to integrate the ionic figures as well as the ionic tent. On the aesthetic level, I have always found this capital of sobriety and symbolism very strong. But to integrate it was something very complex, there was a research and reflection very long upstream.
Already, we had to find a very small movement that could be integrated into the Ionic tent. Then with this first watch, I developed an aesthetic that I use since on all my models of watchmaking: I have the bracelet under the dial so that there are no legs to hold it. This allows not to "break" the harmony of the watch. With this specificity, one has the impression that the dial is simply placed on the bracelet.
So I realized the ionic watch at only 25 specimens because they were very expensive and very difficult to realize, a real puzzle. But I do not exclude to redo it by adding some evolution...
