This ring was inspired to Philippe Tournaire by a sapphire. He called it Opéra because its slender shape reminded him of the movements of the stars at Opéra.

The Opéra collection traces its origins back to 1996, when Philippe Tournaire was faced with a beautiful sapphire that was too high. He came up with the idea of off-centring it so that the breech could be placed between two fingers.

It's this vision that creates the very special balance of the Opéra collection, a collection between gentleness and character, set with an imposing yet wonderfully appropriate stone.
